JOE MCGLOHON - THE SAX MAN
My old band mate Joe and I played, recorded, and roomed together in the band Heartwood. Joe went on from Heartwood to play with Reba McEntire, Delbert McClinton, T. Graham Brown and many others. Go to his site and take a listen to him. The solo in ‘Take It Back’ from Reba’s multi platinum album It’s Your Call is one of my favorites.

BRENDA LINTON - SINGER SONGWRITER
Brenda and I first met way back in the mid 60’s. Both of us were inspired by folk the music of Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, and Joni Mitchell. Brenda played with the folk rock group Warm. Also in that band was Robert Hudson who besides being a great percussionist designed and manages my site. Give her a listen. |
MICHAEL KELSH - SINGER SONGWRITER
Mikey and I hooked up in Chapel Hill North Carolina in the mid 80’s. Michael and I teamed up as a duo called The Cadillac Kids. Michael relocated to Nashville in 1992. His CD, Well Of Mercy, was produced by Bill Halverson who produced Eric Clapton, CSYN, and others. There were some great players on the CD including Rusty Young of Poco fame. Michael is truly a gifted singer songwriter.

JERRY CAPEHART - PRODUCER PUBLISHER
Jerry Capehart was my publisher in Nashville. He was a very talented songwriter, producer, arranger, and manager. He penned the huge rock’n’roll classicSummertime Blues that was first recorded by Eddie Cochran and later by such diverse artists as the Who and Alan Jackson. This link will take you to a YouTube interview with Jerry as he talks about the original recording. Sadly Jerry passed away in 1998. |
ROBERT HUDSON - DRUMMER / PERCUSSIONIST
Robert is another Heartwood alumnus. Robert and I have played together on and off since the early 70’s. Not only is he a very fine drummer and percussionist but a pretty darn good singer as well. He has played with so many people I can’t even keep track. Besides his many music abilities he also designed this web site and manages it. So if you need a web site... |

SHAGGIE MAGGIE - BEACH / R'n'B BAND
The reason I have Maggie Shaggie as a link is because Ted Keaton, the keyboardist, was instrumental in getting my song ‘South Of The Border’ to the right people. He offered some great advice and insight as to how it should be recorded. I took his advice and the rest is history. |
JOHN BARKER - SONGWRITER KEYBOARDIST ARRANGER AND PRODUCER
John produced and arranged ‘South Of The Border’ and provided the backing tracks. I was introduced to Johnny by Ted Keaton of Shaggie Maggie. Johnny really put the BEACH In the recording. He was a founding member of the Catalinas , he was a member of the consummate beach band, The Embers, and wrote one of the biggest Beach Music hits of all time ‘Summertime’s Callin Me.’ |
